General Membership Meeting

The first general membership meeting for the 2020 year was held on Wednesday January 15th at Happy Joe's Pizza Grille Milan.  Members enjoyed their Lunch Buffet, a great variety of items to try.

Our guest speaker was Jason Keller with Illinois Department of Labor.  He shared information on new Labor Laws in 2020.   Some things he talked on included What does the Department of Labor do.  They are here for not only Employees but Employers as well.  He touched on the new Minimum Wage increase, Sexual Harassment and bans on salary history.  If you were unable to attend, interested in copy of his slide presentation, contact the Chamber Office for a copy.  Call 309-714-8166, visit office at 801 Tech Drive, Milan (inside IHMVCU) or Email:
