Communication: It is key in order to keep the community  running smoothly and to keep informed with events happening near you. The Chamber looks to improve communication through the Chamber Chat Newsletter, periodic emails, this website, our Facebook page and even in person. 

Marketing & Promotions: We use our Facebook page along with other social media to share posts from our members' businesses along with events happening in Milan. We use the Milan News page of our website to highlight our members' businesses and organizations. The Community Calendar is where we post the events all for free, so you are sure not to miss the next exciting event happening. We also consider our members first when making referrals. Additionally, we can submit event flyers to Feast n Frolic.com to help people in the community discover what there is to do, eat, and drink in the area.*

Economic Development: Milan Chamber's goal is to help Milan prosper and promote economic growth. We actively encourage people to shop local and commit to doing so ourselves because our members get priority over non-members when we shop for food, services, supplies, venues, and more. 

Professional Development: We give you exposure to local resources such as Quad City SCORE and the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Western Illinois University to help guide your business to success. Attend meetings and events to network with other local business professionals that can offer referrals, partnerships, and assistance.

Stewardship: Your membership shows your commitment to the Milan and willingness to help others and the community.

Affordability: You don't have to break your budget to be a member. Most of our events are free to attend so you can invest back into your business.**

Networking: Attend any of our meetings or gatherings to build valuable relationships with other local professionals.

* The Milan Chamber must be a co-host or sponsor for the event to be eligible for free submission. 

** The Milan Chamber offers food at some of our events, so we do collect a fee from guests to help with the expenses. We appreciate your understanding and support.
