Hennepin Canal State Trail

An ideal destination for a relaxing day of picnicking, trail-going, biking, fishing, and old fashioned family fun. The entire trail spans five Illinois counties: Rock Island, Bureau, Henry, Lee, and Whiteside.

Milan hosts part of it, including the historic Steel Dam at Lock 30, a pollinator garden and picnic area at Lock 31, and the great Mississippi River at Lock 32. Learn more about the trail at QC Trails or the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.

Camden Park

Nestled between the Rock Island-Milan Parkway and Route 67 is the beautiful Camden Park. Anyone can host their next party at any of the facilities available at Camden Park, such as the Lodge or one of the three outdoor shelters. Visit the Parks and Recreation page of the Village website to learn more.
